Ingredients
- 1 Cup Red Lentils
- 2 Cloves Garlic Grated
- 2 Tbsp. Tahini
- 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- 1-2 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
- 1 Tbsp. Tomato Paste
- 1 Tsp. Smoked Paprika More or less to taste
- 1 Tsp. Cumin More or less to taste
- Salt & Pepper To taste
- Cayenne/Hot Sauce Optional. I used Chipotle Tabasco

Instructions
- Bring the lentils and garlic to a boil in about 3 cups of water. Reduce heat to simmer, cover and cook until "mushy" about 15 minutes. Drain well and allow to cool.
- Combine all the ingredients in a food processor or blender. Process until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed. Taste and adjust any or all of the seasonings.
- Scrape into a bowl. Cover and chill at least 2 hours. Serve with veggies and/or pita chips.
